Beyond Zero Emissions
Beyond Zero Emissions is a think tank that shows through independent research and innovative solutions how Australia can prosper in a zero-emissions economy.
CORENA
CORENA (Citizens Own Renewable Energy Network Australia) provides a practical and effective way for the people to collectively fund new renewable energy installations and to electrify everything now instead of just waiting on government action. It works as a revolving fund model that enables all of us who want immediate reductions in carbon emissions to chip in and collectively help pay for practical climate-beneficial projects.
Room to Read
Room to Read seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in low-income communities by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. Working in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations and governments,Room to Read develops literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children, and support girls to complete secondary school with the relevant life skills to succeed in school and beyond.

We invest 70% in long-term projects within a five to ten year range, and 30% in short-term projects that will ease suffering or provide quick wins.

What got us here isn't going to get us to net zero carbon emissions. We believe that humans have the capacity for greatness when given focus, constraints and the right supply and demand.

About the founders
Tash and Wendell Keuneman had similar childhood paths, ten years apart. We were both born in Sri Lanka, had a short stint in Dubai and have lived the bulk of our lives in Australia.
We come from generations of women and men that got their water from their backyard wells, light from candles and their food from the hours they put into simmering curries in clay pots.
Across Australia and the United States, our careers are built on setting up businesses for success, with a focus on product, design and technology. Because of this, we believe in the power of an education, of equal rights and how technology can make leaps and bounds for the betterment of humanity, flora, fauna and the planet.
We believe that good ideas, when well-funded, can have multiplier effects. Humanity can, and must push itself forward to look after the planet in the relatively short time frame that we have to reduce carbon emissions.
With the Keuneman Foundation, we want to do everything in our power to help us all get to net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
